I was the most card dead in a tourney I've ever been in my life and went out around 96th out of around 270 runners i think....It's like a poker factory there...3 tourneys going on at the same time and a ton of cash games...It's an okay place but I found myself missing the sounds of a casino...think I'll stick to going to Equal Chance, The Vic or the western club in London or Luton...wanna try the G in Luton. On a positive note, I got to meet a couple friends from another site I'm on and also got to see Lauren Render, Teresa Kitson, Carla Goddard, Kate Langshaw and a couple other ladies from the tour were there as well. Lauren came 4th in the later £50 tourney
Had a great night railbirding friends and just hanging out with friends away the chaos of my house..

I know it's a poker room Brid....but as I said I was missing the casino atmosphere...and had to agree with Malcolm's assessment of it in a previous post he put about it...wasn't totally impressed. It's very big and gets lots of numbers so it's good in that respect. I'd take a G casino over it any day though.

Hey Malcolm,
Played the £55 and the £100 at Blackpool. A little bit of a dissapointing dismissal in both after relativley deep runs.
In the £55 had Aces on the button and 3 bet all in after a 4x and a caller! First guy calls me with 46!! Flop 466! Good Game!
Then in the £100. I raised TT and got a small reraise pre, I flatted... Flop J24.... He bet half of his stack i moved all in and he snap called AK.... Turns the Ace! Standard stuff!
