Satellite unregistering

Can anyone tell me, on betfred, if you win a seat through a satellite to lets say the 250k or 1 of the land based tournaments, and for some reason you are unable to play, if you was to click unregister would you get the cash value of the seat credited to your account?

No not in my experience. I qualified for the next level of the GUKPT but couldn't play so tried to un-reg. No joy.
I was happy to see they never made the players so it was cancelled anyway.

Nope, :( all seats on i poker are non transferable & you can't take the cash instead. Pity.
If you really can't play try emailing, I did this once & they did at least give me a few bonus dollars.
The harder I work......The luckier I get......
Just need to work harder.....one day.....the big score !!!

On one like for the $250k couldn't you unregister and play it a different night though?

No but you may be able too if you e-mail them. I would ask live help first maybe they can do it while you ask.

couple of years back i qualified for one of the ecoop events a couple of months before the event then realised i couldnt play due to some pillock getting married.........
i phoned customer services and they kindly swopped my ticket to another ecoop of the same buy in ..........
as far as i know betfred is the only site that would even consider doing this as it does require a bit of time and effort.......
so ask the question at worst the answer is no....

I did manage to swap an ECOOP ticket two years ago, but you need to contact support.

I think you may be able to swap for the a similar event, but it would need to be something close to the event you are missing. My ticket was for an event in the same week, I don't think they would give you an open ticket.

I would suggest that you contact support, explain why you cannot play, and ask to be put into a specific event at the same value of your ticket.

Unlike Stars or Tilt, there is no automatic T$ deregister facility.
